Sending notifications by email!

Whenever I see this, I always think "d'oh! now someone's gonna get an email containing my stupid one line answer/'joke'!!!"

Is there anyway of telling if notifications are switched on?

I suppose I shoulda done! But my hotmail account is almost full and you'd probably just get your notifications bounced back to you.
