Pro Athletes who are jerk-offs

Remember way back when people liked the Detroit Pistons because they were the 'NBA's Bad Boys'? Well, I suppose they feel a bit obsolete now that basketball is wall-to-wall surly behaviour. That's mainly ON the court, though, in most other sports they wait until they're in a nightclub before beating or raping someone, or waving guns around. Anybody have any comments on this? (Oh, OJ doesn't count, in LA dispatching unemployed actors falls under the remit of the sanitation dept.)

I'm just upset that the late80's-early90s Detroit Pistons spawned the horrid Super Nintendo game: Bill Laimbeer's Combat Basketball. I have it somewhere in my cellar.

Watching the finals this year was grate, not the least of which was the fact that my team was playing, but also becuz there was so much chest-thumping manly action threating to erupt into a bitch slapping session.

THer e was a n SNL sketch recently about an NBA player who was "actually a pretty decent guy" and it was a news story, everyone was a,mazed.
