The answer of course is yes, classic or dud questions are indeed classic or dud.

See our sister board's Classic Or Dud: Classic or Dud and the closely related Classic or Dud: Classic or Dud. I think I prefer Classic or Dud on ILE to on ILM these days, but then that applies more generally.

Nick, Thursday, 23 August 2001 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

I prefer almost everything on ILE to ILM, except for my discussion with Ian about Britney and Jarvis covering Don't You Want Me.

Ally, Thursday, 23 August 2001 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

I prefer ILE because most of the time I'm in the dark on ILM. Morpheus has been quite busy because I've been trying to keep up.

I'm just waiting for Ally to start her threads on everyone so there can be a 'Ned: Classic or Dud' and I can cower from all the rotten tomatoes flung my way. Er, wait, I'm not looking forward to that at all.

Ned Raggett, Thursday, 23 August 2001 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

I really want to do that. I should, except I'd get yelled at, remember the imitate-other-people thread?

Ally, Thursday, 23 August 2001 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

Hm...true.

Ned Raggett, Thursday, 23 August 2001 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

If I started one about myself, would I get yelled at?

Ally, Thursday, 23 August 2001 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

Only one way to find out!

Ned Raggett, Thursday, 23 August 2001 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

Hasn't that topic been covered in previous threads, such as in the "I am so-and-so" family? And, really, given Ally's pervasive presence on most threads, the threads end up being about Ally anyway. It's not the people that become her bitch - rather, it's the boards themselves. It's a moot point, really.

And besides, Ally already knows she's great. Don't ya, Ally?

David Raposa, Thursday, 23 August 2001 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

Well, Sterling and Nick think so.

Ally, Thursday, 23 August 2001 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

I think you think you're great. Does that count?

Nick, Thursday, 23 August 2001 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

I'm so tired of playing this game with you. You know I am taken and 3000 miles away, won't you give up?

Ally, Thursday, 23 August 2001 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

one year passes...
Give up what?

Ally (mlescaut), Wednesday, 2 July 2003 22:41 (twenty-two years ago)

Me, on Thursday: "Goddamnit, that is the indiest motherfucker on the planet that just walked past."
Whoever I'm talking to: "Yeah... that's Nick DaStoor. You know, Nick?"
Me: "oh, yeah"

Andrew Farrell (afarrell), Wednesday, 2 July 2003 22:47 (twenty-two years ago)

You should start referencing him as Nick Da$toor, actually.

Ally (mlescaut), Wednesday, 2 July 2003 22:49 (twenty-two years ago)

I'm, errr, mad as hell, and ummmm, I'm...not gonna take it. anymore.
