"Is this THE Weeman, from Jackass? The Willy-Wonka-dressing skater midget?"

Bonus points for phrasing your answer in the form on an Oompa Loompa song.

"Oompa-Loompa, doobity-doo, I've got another puzzle for you.
Why do they look like glam rock clowns
Without painted smiles or without painted frowns
That color scheme really makes me cry
But the DVD is out and I want to buy!
Oompa-Loompa, doobity-doo, that made me happy, how about you?"

"Oompa Loompa on a see-saw
I think I've seen this question before"

Madchen, Thursday, 23 August 2001 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

They were what made me decide Willy Wonka is NOT a movie for small children *shudder*

Lyra, Thursday, 23 August 2001 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

What made me decide Willy Wonka is not a film for small children is that trip through the tunnel...double brrr.

(Although I do still find myself saying "What is this, some kinda freakout?!" at the most inopportune times.)

Argh, we did a very similar thread and it erupted into RACIAL SLURS AND SLANDER!

Ally, Thursday, 23 August 2001 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

I think the idea is to make this thread hopefully less problematic. ;-)

I agree with Jess on the tunnel bit. Chopping chickens' heads off! Sheesh!

I once decided I would least like to be raped by Oompa-Loompas. I still believe this.

I truly believe that the Oompa Loompas are the greatest creation ever made by the movie industry, that the Oompas should be worshiped daily, and what the heck, i think they deserve there own holiday... Oompas are the bases of all that is good.. ROCK ON OOMPAS!!!!

ah wee-man, my hero, with his wee hand and everything. and his skateboarding oompa loompa was amazing.

Anyway, I've seen a real oompa loompa, on our way up to Glasgow in May, a lady of ... erm.... restricted height was walking along the train, absolutely slathered in fake tan, she must have been the inspiration for the little critters.

Rusty Goffe is the music man. He comes from round your way and he can play - he plays the trumpet.

And the bagpipes.

And the gee-tar.

And the organ.

And the piano.

And saxophone.

tay, Wednesday, 29 May 2002 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)

the real question is, why the hell are a bunch of highly skilled, multicolored little people working in a mysterious chocolate factory when they could be out on the road, singing songs and making money?

Oilyrags, Saturday, 2 February 2008 15:11 (eighteen years ago)

I wish I hadn't clicked that. Those people are frightning and I don't understand why they look like that.

chap, Saturday, 2 February 2008 16:52 (eighteen years ago)

Yeah, what's the problem with those people? Too much self-tanning lotion? Some of these pics have been posted to ILX before, right?

Tuomas, Saturday, 2 February 2008 17:02 (eighteen years ago)

yeah, really. did they get that from the gotti dudes? or did the gotti dudes just look like everyone else already. such a strange look. like, the faker your tan looks, the cooler you are?

scott seward, Saturday, 2 February 2008 17:03 (eighteen years ago)
