Mark? Are you there? You must have seen it, surely?

DG, Thursday, 23 August 2001 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

yup. looking good so far: course the kiddie- cut version = rhythmically out of wack, editwise. we need those killshots!!!

mark s, Thursday, 23 August 2001 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

Well, I enjoyed it. I am not sure how I feel about Dawn, yet.

And Riley=DUD, I must say.

rosemary, Thursday, 23 August 2001 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

Yeah, Riley = annoying chump.

Series Five = GRATE. And I hear series six has just started in America, so it should be on Sky in a couple of weeks. Yay.

only saw first half because girl turned up early to look at room in our house. but good news is, she's a buffy fan too, and we like her and it looks as though she will be moving in.

(if you were REAL fans she'd have had to wait outside until BtVS wuz over — to teach her a sense of priorities...)

Riley was boring. And what has happened to Willow?? Watching the first series again reminded me of how beautiful she WAS until they put makeup on her and turned her hair into a strange bizarre ORANGE mass instead of the auburn it was before. Xander is still amusing as is feminist ex-demon gf but I still feel Buffy & Angel were a winning combination until Boreanzes'es'ezs ego grew to the size of a HOWSE and he got his own spin off. Buffy & Riley ... geesh. She needs a real MAN/DEMON.

Predictions - lots of past Slayer experiences so Buffy gets to understand her powerz. In one of the Buffy books Willow mentions she read an old Slayers diary and it was so horrible she couldn't tell Buffy she read it. Anyone know what was IN this Slayers diary?? And when she did this?

NB - not MY Buffy book!

I am having an irrational urge to buy a DVD player and Buffy Seasons 1 through 4.

marianna, Sunday, 26 August 2001 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

That's not irrational. My student loan may not be long for this world. It can't be that bad living in an actual rabbit hutch, surely?

Graham, Sunday, 26 August 2001 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

Riley is a classic. Whedon realied there was a logical inconstincey. There was so much death and strangeness in sunnydale the government would now something about it. Hence the intiative. As well Rirley provided a note of tension. What Buffy thought was nesscary stablity already had his priorities decided.

Isn't the English bloke getting his own series?

I got scared out of wits the other day in a comic shop, I thought someone was looking over my shoulder, turned round and it was a giant cut out off Buffy!

Just google "Buffy Dracula" and pretty soon WEEX!

You find more than you bargained for...

mark s, Sunday, 26 August 2001 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

UK Buffy schedule = two weeks behind NZ hurrah! (Tho NZ Buffy opposite Ally McBeal which I've recently begun watching, whatever series this is [this week's episode one w/ Sting, Pee Wee Herman, & C. Margolis], & surprised to find myself liking plenny. Plenny I say.)
