gareth (gareth), Wednesday, 8 January 2003 14:31 (twenty-two years ago)

N. (nickdastoor), Thursday, 9 January 2003 08:50 (twenty-two years ago)

The man has 6 pairs of golas already.

Ed (dali), Thursday, 9 January 2003 09:05 (twenty-two years ago)

N. (nickdastoor), Thursday, 9 January 2003 09:20 (twenty-two years ago)

zemko (bob), Thursday, 9 January 2003 12:22 (twenty-two years ago)

'82 = superman t-shirt and furry anorak.

jel -- (jel), Thursday, 9 January 2003 12:24 (twenty-two years ago)

superman shirt = waving from the top of a building before suicide and rain / anthony easton 2003 calendar
70s airport bag = utopian esp if bright orange

therefore i would go for BOTH

jaunbersin (anthonee), Thursday, 9 January 2003 16:03 (twenty-two years ago)

gareth (gareth), Thursday, 9 January 2003 16:16 (twenty-two years ago)

daria g, Thursday, 9 January 2003 22:50 (twenty-two years ago)

Shall I bring you a matching Avion de Papier bag with fake French on it?

Mary (Mary), Thursday, 9 January 2003 23:19 (twenty-two years ago)

mary, if you dont bring me presents, i will cry, okay?

gareth (gareth), Friday, 10 January 2003 01:54 (twenty-two years ago)

Mary (Mary), Friday, 10 January 2003 02:33 (twenty-two years ago)

that smile looks quite sinister, as if i am gleeful at the thought of making gareth cry...

Mary (Mary), Friday, 10 January 2003 02:44 (twenty-two years ago)

you have admitted it now:(

gareth (gareth), Friday, 10 January 2003 02:48 (twenty-two years ago)

I lurv these.

I don't know if it would really work, but anyone know if Braniff made these?

gabbneb (gabbneb), Monday, 20 January 2003 03:37 (twenty-two years ago)

liz p. (lizjoydiv), Monday, 20 January 2003 09:42 (twenty-two years ago)

Does Gareth have one yet?

jel -- (jel), Monday, 20 January 2003 10:25 (twenty-two years ago)

He is still without...Do you have any extra one Jel? Thanks again for the CD comp by the way...I miss London ILx!

Mary (Mary), Monday, 20 January 2003 23:01 (twenty-two years ago)

would you say these are much better if they feature the logo of a no-longer-existing airline?

Amateurist (amateurist), Monday, 20 January 2003 23:04 (twenty-two years ago)

If they are in a new Spielberg film, is there not a risk of loads of people having them, and making Gareth seem ordinary (as if that were possible)?

Martin Skidmore (Martin Skidmore), Tuesday, 21 January 2003 18:08 (twenty-two years ago)

I think he should carry the Lonsdale bag like a young Japanese boy...

Mary (Mary), Tuesday, 21 January 2003 20:02 (twenty-two years ago)

Why do all American international airlines go bust?

N. (nickdastoor), Wednesday, 22 January 2003 12:57 (twenty-two years ago)

why not?

RJG (RJG), Wednesday, 22 January 2003 12:59 (twenty-two years ago)

two weeks pass...
Saw today: Gola airline bag style -- chocolate brown with light brown trim -- a man should always match his bag to his shoes.

Mary (Mary), Saturday, 8 February 2003 05:57 (twenty-two years ago)

delta airlines-U.S. airways-pan american airlines-trans world airlines

RJG (RJG), Sunday, 9 February 2003 15:20 (twenty-two years ago)

where was the bag mary?

gareth (gareth), Sunday, 9 February 2003 15:30 (twenty-two years ago)

Alphabets on Ave. A; surely you don't want it though (?) Gareth is truly unaccomadated man: sans bag, sans tie, sans all.

Mary (Mary), Monday, 10 February 2003 04:03 (twenty-two years ago)

Oh man. My mom was a flight attendant ("stewardess" being the preferred mysogynist fuckwit term) for Braniff from '69 to '81. She still has her silk Halston uniforms, Hartmann luggage and various pens/stationery/stemware/broaches, etc knicknacks. I told her all this stuff was fetching HI BIDS on Ebay but she wants to keep it.

Aaron A., Monday, 10 February 2003 04:10 (twenty-two years ago)

my grandmother used to have a BOAC (british overseas airline company?) bag -- i think she got it sometime in the seventies, when she went to visit family in the UK.

Tad (llamasfur), Monday, 10 February 2003 04:13 (twenty-two years ago)

it sounds perfect for me mary. describe it for me in more detail please!

gareth (gareth), Monday, 10 February 2003 06:44 (twenty-two years ago)

Really: I thought it was pretty hot...but didn't know if you wanted to go out on the Gola tip. Gareth = walking Gola endorsement (?) It is beautiful -- supple brown pleather with contrasting lighter tan trim... vertical, nice size, long straps, they also have one in blue... It is $$$ so I assume it is good.

Mary (Mary), Thursday, 13 February 2003 08:21 (twenty-two years ago)

Mary (Mary), Thursday, 13 February 2003 09:41 (twenty-two years ago)

There are like hundreds of these at every thrift store I've ever been to.

Kris (aqueduct), Thursday, 13 February 2003 16:38 (twenty-two years ago)

hmm im not so keen on those gola bags.

there are many in thrift stores thats correct, but they're always a bit skanky, and not quite right for me

gareth (gareth), Thursday, 13 February 2003 16:39 (twenty-two years ago)

gareth is soo hard to please:(

Mary (Mary), Thursday, 13 February 2003 23:10 (twenty-two years ago)

Yes, VERY skanky is more your style, gareth.

rosemary (rosemary), Friday, 14 February 2003 04:00 (twenty-two years ago)
