Steve McQueenish Jacket

Shoot me down on this one, if you like, but I'm being perfetly genuine, straight down the line - not in the least ironic. I am coming into London to shop for a man's leather jacket in the next few days. It doesn't have to be designer, but I am seeking something a bit different - not space monkeyish or too biker; something elegant, earthy, but cool enough to wear on stage: Steve McQueenish perhaps, crossed with Nick Drake. Being born and always based in Norwich, I don't know any shops or shopping areas in London. Does anyone have any suggestions as to where I might find such an item? Thanks.
