Post-Purchase Depression

I bought a car Tuesday. I drove it off the lot today. I'm a bit "ehh" about it - now that it's sunny (instead of overcast), I see all these dings, and the seat's kinda uncomfortable, and the armrest is really, really small, and blah blah blah. Am I weird, or is this a regular occurance? Does PPD increase as the money spent increases, or is there an inverse relationship between the two?

I mean - did Donald Trump buy what became Trump Towers and say to himself, after all the paperwork was filled out - "Y'know, I wish it were a little bit taller..."

Oh, I get this alot. I mean I like planning to buy things, but once I get them it's like "hmmm, is that it?". I think I'm like this with alot of other things as well, like finishing my degree, it was what do I now? Just finishing anything makes me a little sad.

God, I get this all the time! Especially with clothing... Post-purchase depression is directly proportional to the amount of money I spend.

I get it at after big purchases, but if you really weren't stupid about the thing you bought, it will go away.

I last got it after buying my enormous clock but it soon went away when I realised how useful knowing the time is.

I get this w/nearly everything. Last time I was wondering if "Fun House" was really worth $50 on vinyl, since it had a pretty annoying snare sound. It was, really... wanting's stronger than having. It's a bummer. It's very useful to be able to hear "Dirt" on demand, after all.
