I've thought about getting a cork board to pin things on. See my palm pilot thread for explication. Is it me, or do you not see cork boards around so much these days?

I think you can still get the pin board in places like smiths, but in some cases the cork has been replaced with felt type material.

We have a blackboard.

In our 'cellar den' we once tried making a blackboard out of gloss black paint. It didn't work. We were kids.

I am a big fan of cork boards. Except ours is actually made of red felt and is covered in pictures of dirty dronerock boys and invitations to Aaaahhhrt Paaahhhrties.

I forgot the chopping boards, as well. A round one for dead animal flesh, a rectangular one for food.

I want a drawing board! I used to have one and I loved it! I wish I could go back to using one...

An idiot once told me that I was being racist by calling a blackboard a "blackboard". It took some little while to explain that firstly, it was fucking black ferchrissakes, and secondly the use of the term 'black' was not indicating that it was inferior to white boards or evil or something.
