Andrew and Elisabeth - are they deaf?

There I was innocently drinking in Lime Bar on Ponsonby Road, when who should I catch out of the corner of my eye walking by but - you guessed it- Andrew and Elisabeth.
Rushing out from my seat at the bar in my semi-drunkard state I shouted out - "ANDREW , ELISABETH!!!!! - but alas - on they walked, oblivious to my drunkard greetings. Oh what fun times you missed - drinking beer and listening to crap 70's pop!

Hmm, maybe they were ignoring you on purpose.
Or they are deaf, but they would have ignored you.
Or - perhapos they were on a hot date and didn't want to be interupted. I always thought Drew and Lizzy would get together, so maybe the magic has finally sparked.

Don't take it personally Gazza.

FUCK!! No Gazza we DID NOT hear you, we were maybe blathering too intensely. Damn! Sorry. Yeah we were on Ponsonby Rd a lot today. Next time you should probably throw something, we couldn't remain oblivious to that. I guess.

Maybe we were taking our dinner home. It's hard to get through to us when we're hungry..
Sorry we didn't hear you! That does sound like fun.

Elisabeth (Elisabeth), Thursday, 16 January 2003 01:51 (twenty-two years ago)

I should fly over there, follow them around a bit, shout hi, watch them ignore me, then leave again. Won't THEY feel sad!

Or not.

Maybe you should just say you did.

Andrew Thames (Andrew Thames), Thursday, 16 January 2003 02:31 (twenty-two years ago)

Putting words into my mouth AGAIN. Actually, I shouldn't say anything, you two would use your arcade game skills and beat the stuffing out of me.
