I can't say that I find them particularly sexy on either men or women but for deeply internalised personal (chauvinistic?) reasons the sight of a woman with hairy armpits makes me feel sick.

I just think Fred would appreciate the attention that a quick monthly trim would entail.

Isn't it strange how a man with shaved armpits looks really weird but one with profusely hairy armpits also looks rank? Perhaps men should only reveal their armpits in darkness so as not to visually assail anyone...?

I was only joking about 'Fred'. I'm sure it's fine. I don't think I've ever balked at the sight of a boyfriend's under-arm hair. *However*, when I think about it I am kind of revolted.

I can't tell, I saw one girl at a club once that I had sort of thing for and she was dancing and threw her arms up up in the air I spotted a shadow where I didn't expect one two shadows! and turned to my friend to make a comment but before I could he made a face like awful you wouldn't believe and er didn't know what to say exactly after that

Caved in to the peer pressure really. She was still hot to me but as unshaven pits are generally a signifier amongst lesbians hereabouts I chose not to pursue it any further, even though she and I were clearly the best dancers in the whole joint and thus obviously made for one another on some level

Tom's post is funny because when he retold the story to a rather sizable group of us on one occasion, he was not as, uh, reasoned about whether or not it was gross. OTOH HIS PEER PRESSURING BASTARD OF A FRIEND WAS THERE UPON RETELLING. I'm gonna stop shaving and see what happens. No one post to this thread at all over the weekend so it falls off new answers and Tom will have no idea I made this plan. Capiche? I'll report back in one month's time.
