Chris V. (Chris V), Wednesday, 15 January 2003 19:12 (twenty-two years ago)

I work 8:30am to 5pm with an hour lunch (supposed to be half hour but usually ends up going over and no one has ever said anything, so...).

Sarah McLusky (coco), Wednesday, 15 January 2003 19:16 (twenty-two years ago)

5am start with no lunch break and i finish at around 6.30 - 7pm when my boy goes to bed.

erik, Wednesday, 15 January 2003 19:23 (twenty-two years ago)

I work shifts, 8-4's, 12-8's, or Sleep-in's 4pm-till midday the following day. I only work part-time too, 25 hours a week. No computers at work, but plenty of days off.

Celeste (Celeste), Wednesday, 15 January 2003 19:26 (twenty-two years ago)

hi donna! no pay and no food? i don't get it. even farmers need to eat!

Tracer Hand (tracerhand), Wednesday, 15 January 2003 19:44 (twenty-two years ago)

i mean ESPECIALLY.

Tracer Hand (tracerhand), Wednesday, 15 January 2003 19:45 (twenty-two years ago)

From when I get in, about 10-11, until when I leave. Generally 8-ish, sometimes I leave at 6-ish and them come back at 10 and work until 2-4 in the morning.

Andrew Farrell (afarrell), Wednesday, 15 January 2003 19:51 (twenty-two years ago)

Half 9.

jel -- (jel), Wednesday, 15 January 2003 20:03 (twenty-two years ago)

NEVER!!! Ha ha ha!!!

OK, I've been setting my alarm for 9.30 lately cause otherwise I'll sleep until 2 in the afternoon, and then I'll never get to bed.

kate, Wednesday, 15 January 2003 20:06 (twenty-two years ago)

7 am - 4 pm.

mike a (mike a), Wednesday, 15 January 2003 20:14 (twenty-two years ago)

I get to work at 9am, when I work, which seems to be rarely these days. Usually my answer is like kate's but without the alarm-clock setting nonsense which just destroys precious SLEEP.

Tracer Hand (tracerhand), Wednesday, 15 January 2003 20:20 (twenty-two years ago)

Up at 6:10 am, at work at 7:20, home by 5 pm. This works.

Ned Raggett (Ned), Wednesday, 15 January 2003 20:47 (twenty-two years ago)

except to get 8 hrs sleep you have to miss Samurai Jack!!

Tracer Hand (tracerhand), Wednesday, 15 January 2003 21:17 (twenty-two years ago)

various different times. i have a college working day, which starts at either 9, 1 or 10, depending on the day. work in the shop could start at any number of times: 8, half 8, 1.00, half2, half3. depends when the fuckers choose to put me on.

weasel diesel (K1l14n), Wednesday, 15 January 2003 21:22 (twenty-two years ago)

I start work around 9 but I could waltz in here around 10:30 and not be out of place. Get home around 5:30 if I don't get groceries at the St Clair Loblaws.

Mr Noodles (Mr Noodles), Wednesday, 15 January 2003 21:36 (twenty-two years ago)

I generally get to work around 9am, but I can be reasonably flexible about it.

Martin Skidmore (Martin Skidmore), Wednesday, 15 January 2003 21:49 (twenty-two years ago)

7:25, but the bus comes at 6:45. I get home at 3 or 3:30, unless I have to tutor or something, and then there's half an hour to an hour of homework usually.

Maria (Maria), Wednesday, 15 January 2003 22:38 (twenty-two years ago)

ron (ron), Wednesday, 15 January 2003 23:54 (twenty-two years ago)

sand.y, Wednesday, 15 January 2003 23:59 (twenty-two years ago)

9ish - 6ish, but it depends on what time I leave home at & how much work I have... sometimes I leave early & slack for a few hours & then finish stuff from home.

weatheringdaleson (weatheringdaleson), Thursday, 16 January 2003 10:03 (twenty-two years ago)

Up at 6.50, out the door and walk down the cliff at 7.30, on train at 7.46, into Exeter 8.05, walk up hill/catch bus if raining, go for breakfast 8.20, into office 8.35, open office to students 9.00, leave 5.10-5.30 depending, home 40-ish minutes later. Supposed to have two 20 minute breaks and a 58 (?) minute lunch, rarely take breaks (my entire job consists of me talking about films/music/surfing the net, who needs a break?!), often take a longer lunch.

Nick Southall (Nick Southall), Thursday, 16 January 2003 10:14 (twenty-two years ago)

my answer is similar to kate's answer.

RJG (RJG), Thursday, 16 January 2003 10:19 (twenty-two years ago)

my working day starts at 8.30 and ends at 4.30. I take half an hour for lunch. I'm sure there's someone on ILE who can fill Archel in abt what's happening in Neighbours.

MarkH (MarkH), Thursday, 16 January 2003 10:20 (twenty-two years ago)

10am - 5:30pm, with variable time for lunch.

Pete (Pete), Thursday, 16 January 2003 11:01 (twenty-two years ago)

9:00 to 4:30 - I don't have a lunch break usually by my choice. It takes me 1:30 to get to work. Sometimes I get to work at home and when I do that I work from 8:30 to 5:30 with a long lunch.

I will not work more than 37.5 hours per week unless I am paid to do so!

marianna, Thursday, 16 January 2003 11:28 (twenty-two years ago)

Supposed to be 9to5 and flexible. In reality, 9 to whatevertimeafterfiveicangetaway, and not very flexible, either. I have to ring in if I'm going to be 2 minutes late. This is because my immediate boss is a twat.

SittingPretty (sittingpretty), Thursday, 16 January 2003 11:34 (twenty-two years ago)

I won't work 1 hour a week unless paid to do so.

Pete (Pete), Thursday, 16 January 2003 11:55 (twenty-two years ago)

About 2:20pm, if I'm out of bed by then.

Graham (graham), Thursday, 16 January 2003 14:32 (twenty-two years ago)
