i'm stuck here at work with nothing to do really. going to read the vibe interview with jay z. not really that interested. the office is abuzz with michael jackson documentary fever. no-one can wait until tonight to see it. my co-workers are working themselves up into a frenzy. they want his children (prince michael 1, prince michael 2 and paris) to be taken away.

i really want to see the m.j. interview, but alas we only get one channel on our tv, and it's fox.

you know, i got the promo back when it first came out, played it once (or like, half a play) and it never left any impression. i should find it and try again. does the sampler have "here's whats left"? i think that's just beautiful. it was on a def jux sampler and i think the bonus track on the d2 album. very classically "downtempo" - soul vox, rhodes - but rougher, like if pete rock remixed kruder and dorfmeister or something.

Aw, I wish that I were in NY & could go play pool! I don't think I've been since I moved out here.

I fed my friend chicken breasts stuffed with shallots & cheese, and rosemary roasted potatos for dinner tonight. yum. Then I drove him home & had to take the loooooong route around home because the CD I was listening to sounds better driving around an empty downtown.
