It was weird that the Breakfast Club scene wasn't even a parody, it was like a straight-up cover version (maybe the "extended mix").

Holy shit this is funny! My non movie fan friend didn't get most of the references.

It might have the best opening of any movie ever...

Janey was portrayed more realistically than most movies portray angsty teenage girls. They actually had Bikini Kill on the soundtrack!
