Sorry Graham, you didn't respond when I pursued... ;) Yes, me! The Recently Dumped! I got a date for VDay. It's sort of a pseudo-date...just a really good friend whose girlfriend is going out of town, so we're gonna get all dolled up and have a good time. I'm just glad to have something to do, so I'm not as anxious about the whole thing anymore. And sorry to post something that's a little self-centered, I just thought some of the folks who sympathized with my breakup stories might be interested.

Going anywhere nice? I am going out with some goths who are funding me beer and gin and pink presents and no doubt will endure some absolutely terrible music along the way. Hooray for goths, they will all be moping so my drunken maudlin single-ism moments will end up looking relatively cheery!

my dad used to wear the same clothes every weekend when he picked me up. That was his excuse "it's my cycle, get over it"* I've since tried really hard not to fall into this same pattern but it happens sometimes.
