This upcoming week is Mr Biffo AKA Paul Rose's last week on Digitiser. As there a fair number of Digi fans here, I thought I might tell you that in case you hadn't heard.

surely he realises he will fail at anything else?

The worst part of it being that all of his characters, and the digitiser name is leaving with him :(

I've forgotten the new name, but it's really boring and plain. You can check it out on this weekends digitiser.

Guess it will be replaced with a boring standard games magazine

The new games section will be called "Games Central".

Apparently Stuart Campbell, Jonathan Nash and Zy Nicholson made a joint bid to do the new games section (Stuart and Zy doing the reviews, J. Nash doing the comedy bits). This would have been great. However, Teletext didn't even give them an interview.

a similar deal happened ten years ago with C4's Music pages Beatbox - although not surreal and offbeat like Digitiser - the pages were informed, opinionated, humanised and warm. When Carlton took over Thames that all went out the window and in came 'Planet Sound' and dull press release style blah...i'd still like to know what became of Jon Homer

All this increasing wackiness before the End is seriously choking me up. Phoning Honey saying 'I'm going to die soon', I mean yeah I only got an hour and a half's sleep but that was SAD wasnit? I'm hoping for some absolutely astonishing Morris-like blaze of glory for the last issue.

It was, rather... but what came immediately after was funny - "...while you shouldn't get upset about this, I think you should know that I'm going to die in YOUR HOUSE."

A shrine to the last week of Digitiser, featuring almost all of the pages transmitted from 3rd to 9th March, has appeared here.

have been stuck in hotel for the last few weeks and the tv has teletext but no reveal button. = torture.

the final Ring Sir, with them phoning up teletext to complain at the smut of the last few weeks, was funny.

The last reveal was 'The Real Turner The Worm Being Sick', wherein it was not clear that it was either a worm or vomit involved.

Morrissey the were-giraffe= possibly the funniest thing I've ever seen. Apart from Mr T's exam tips, of course.
