I just rebooted our Linux server by accident! Some asshole decided that root needed a pretty little menuing thing to come up in their login script to let my boss reboot and do some sysadmin stuff
easily....

I typed "ls" to exit the menu system ("Logoff System") but missed the l and the menu defaulted to "ss" -- "SHUTDOWN SYSTEM".

A pretty little menuing thing comes up on the *root* account? Forgive me for saying so, but that sounds like a bloody stupid way to set up a system.

(especially if its commands give New Exciting Meanings to standard commands like 'ls')
