Meet My Folks--Twins!!!

A.K.A.: Do parents REALLY want monogamy for their children?

I posted on this show/guilty pleasure before, but it didn't get responses (maybe because I got the title totally wrong..."Meet My Folks", not "Meet My Parents"). But I am not phased--we WILL talk about this important contribution to Western Culture.

So last night was a guy getting his pick with 3 sets of twins, with full approval of Mom & Dad. I was kind of surprised...I mean, granted, this show is obviously not meant to be family viewing, but I was kind of surprised that when the "twist" is revealed (that the guy only can go on the exotic trip with ONE of the twins, not BOTH of them), the MOM (who otherwise seemed pretty normal) actually seemed kind of dismayed at that turn of events (of course, it begs the question why they would agree to a Twins episode to begin with).

The lie detector guy still rawks!! I love it when he silently guffaws at certain lies...

I saw this show once when I was in a motel room somewhere in the middle of Oregon, and it's my crowning jewel. This was the episode were the Mark McGrath guy was the prize, and there were three girls vying for him. I just remember the Asian girl totally boasting how gassy she was, and how she farted in the company of her competitors all the time.

"I mean, what can I say? I'm a gassy girl!"

*swoon*
