Granted the package tour beach ghettos are unspeakable, but Ciutat de Palma is chock full o' amazing architecture. Or was it a dream.....?

mmm, yeah Palma is quite nice and there's some nice mountains and scenery etc. but those tacky seaside resorts - eekkk!!

Palma is fantastic yes. I've got a soft spot for Majorca after all those family holidays in the late seventies and eighties.

luckily my parents never inflicted the english bar type place on me and always wanted to drive up into the hills and find little beaches on the less popular side of the island. I hated it then, I'm thankful now.
