My Iraqwar Dream

I dreamt that I was in the army for a war in Iraq (note: I am a pacifist.). I was in basic training which was like a combination of desert and jungle (supposed to be Vietnam?). At first I was in the desert shooting targets. Then I was in some jungle camp. I put on my contact lens because I didn't wanna wear glasses, for fear of looking bad. I was afraid that I would get caught putting them in. I was unsure whether to say "Yes Sir!" or "Sir, Yes Sir!" to my officers after order. During a briefing for a patrol training thing, they told us that we would see a dead American soldier floating in a pool of water, preserved by chemicals (agent orange) and that the corpse was from Vietnam. I remember being afraid.

I slept really restlessly. Today at work I had a project I was kinda dreading.

Ok! Your thoughts.

Thank made me laugh. Can't have that happening in a war now, can we? ;)

Years ago, I dreamt that I was trapped in an Iraqi palace. I walked all over, up and down stairs but to know avail. Eventuaally, I came across Saddam, and he showed me to the door.
