Try and localize the exact moment when you began to feel this way. Something must have activated a subconscious trigger. That 'something' might have reminded you of something else you've forgotten about.

It's far worse when you DO know why. Trust me. The benefit of there being no tangible cause is that you don't have to do anything about it. Absinthe is always a winner though, regardless.

Knowledge is power.

Unless that knowledge is the realisation of your complete powerlessness, of course.

Absinthe is great alright. And at 2 pounds a bottle in Eastern Countries its even better

There's your perfect answer Anthony, get thee to Romania!

Trevor, Tuesday, 4 September 2001 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)

Just be careful lighting it on fire

Ronan, Tuesday, 4 September 2001 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)

Yeah, Romania's one of the most flammable countries in Europe. It's all those trees, you see.

Be careful with the absinthe as well.

Romania burns slowly...good for roasting ambitions

Sometimes I get into "moods" where I'm disquieted and uneasy and just want to be alone. This may lead to things like becoming weepy at completely random moments. It doesn't happen very often, but when it does it usually is at the most inconvenient time possible (ie, when I'm out at a bar with overly-attentive friends who think they've suddenly done something to offend me and spend the rest of the evening badgering me with unnecessary and unwanted apologies).

The only advice I can really offer is to do something that takes you out of your normal routine. For me, it cold be reading a new book (preferably a comedy) or going for a walk in a random part of town, or checking out a movie. Even calling someone else and chatting with them about hisher life can help.

Don't talk to a hippee, they will try and mess you up with their "it's all in your head" words and then they will tickle you with an amethyst crystal.
