YOu could do worse than starting with Georges Monbiot's site an there's always the good old guardian.

Anthony pointed me to some bilious nastyness on family.org, which was worth reading just for some perspective.

I still haven't delved NNS but anthony again pointed me at a good article there on how Franklin Graham and the southern baptists are going to prosletyse their fundie views in iraq.

My current favourite is a site run by Josh Marshall. He's not opposed to the war but highly critical of the botched diplomacy and military planning that led up to it, and he's a powerful critic of the neo-cons. Highly recommended: Talking Points Memo

Various Neo-Conservative blogs + sites (not 'recommended', some are frightening especially David Horowitz's FrontPage, but essential reading if you want to understand why we're having this war:
Andrew Sullivan
FrontPage Magazine
instapundit
National Review

Neo-cons, dominate the blogosphere. Exceptions are Shadow of the Hegemon &
The Rittenhouse Review

Also recommended for a somewhat idiosyncratic, British Nationalist approach (anti-war + anti-EU) Airstrip One

Any good left wing blogs/news sources anyone's come across recently?

When I'm feeling particularly angry, I read The Rude Pundit.

I'm fond of CounterPunch, which is US left wing, but not partisan (blind support for Democrats).
