Doh, you ruined my chance to start another thread. Anyway, I wanted to give everyone a chance to sign up before we shut the door (also I have been busy with school and playstation 2).

So the final tally is there are 28 of us. Which would give us like 4 minutes and fifteen seconds each if we were gonna try and cram it on one 120 minute tape. I don't think thats enough, so we could go with two 90 minute tapes. Which gives over 6 minutes per person.

The problem here is when it comes time to boot the mix, I am going to have come up with 56 90 minute tapes, which is pretty insane. Any suggestions? Has anyone heard of a tape longer then 120?

bnw, what's the geographical spread of the participants. Is it 50/50 American/UK (yeah I know people from elsewhere entered) or is it skewed towards a particular locale?
Maybe have an old world tape and a new world tape(damn, record would be so much better)?

perhaps, when the tape is finished, it does a second journey round, and everyone makes their own copy of the finished article. that would save somebody taping it 56 times.

2 90s are better than 1 120. 120s are a bit fragile in comparison. and you can't fuck with a 90, its the only true form of tape.
