Wintermute (Wintermute), Wednesday, 2 April 2003 17:20 (twenty-one years ago) link

Jody Beth Rosen (Jody Beth Rosen), Wednesday, 2 April 2003 17:22 (twenty-one years ago) link

Tracer Hand (tracerhand), Wednesday, 2 April 2003 17:25 (twenty-one years ago) link

NEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEERRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRDDDDDDDDDDDDDSSSSSSSSSSSS .

Be alot cooler if he put a flux capacitor in there.

Chris V. (Chris V), Wednesday, 2 April 2003 17:35 (twenty-one years ago) link

i'd like to live in a gesamtkunstwerk recreation of the inside of the Professor's house from Back to the Future

Tracer Hand (tracerhand), Wednesday, 2 April 2003 17:40 (twenty-one years ago) link

I worked on a Star Trek mag briefly = Trekkies think I'm cool. Hurrah.

Martin Skidmore (Martin Skidmore), Wednesday, 2 April 2003 18:01 (twenty-one years ago) link

My personality is always set to 'stun'.

lawrence kansas (lawrence kansas), Wednesday, 2 April 2003 18:13 (twenty-one years ago) link

But what does that get you, Martin? Aside from a possible discount at pretty much any Radio Shack outlet.

mark p (Mark P), Wednesday, 2 April 2003 18:14 (twenty-one years ago) link

whovians are much cooler.

DV (dirtyvicar), Wednesday, 2 April 2003 18:28 (twenty-one years ago) link

what about seussians?

jess (dubplatestyle), Wednesday, 2 April 2003 18:29 (twenty-one years ago) link

I ask you to imagine Pynchonites.

Ned Raggett (Ned), Wednesday, 2 April 2003 18:44 (twenty-one years ago) link

You rang?

hstencil, Wednesday, 2 April 2003 18:55 (twenty-one years ago) link

The 'hurrah' was supposed to be ironic, Mark. I can also impress comic fans with my past in the field. If I can just cultivate a taste for bright but socially maladroit unattractive young men with bad skin and worse clothes...

Martin Skidmore (Martin Skidmore), Wednesday, 2 April 2003 18:56 (twenty-one years ago) link

hstencil once I was teasing you and made three fairly obscure V. references in a row and you missed each one.

Sterling Clover (s_clover), Wednesday, 2 April 2003 18:56 (twenty-one years ago) link

Does anyone know if the theme tune to Enterprise is going to come out as a single? It should.

jel -- (jel), Wednesday, 2 April 2003 18:57 (twenty-one years ago) link

Sterl, it's been a while since I read it. Give a guy a break.

hstencil, Wednesday, 2 April 2003 18:58 (twenty-one years ago) link

THE THEME SONG IS OUT NOT FEATURING DJ DADDY SNOW REMIX

, Wednesday, 2 April 2003 18:59 (twenty-one years ago) link

yeah they were tough refs -- i'd probably do just as bad if not worse with similar ones someone else picked -- these few for whatever reason are burned deep in my brane, probably b/c i remember them getting picked apart in absurd detail on the p-list back when i used to subscribe lo these many years ago.

Sterling Clover (s_clover), Wednesday, 2 April 2003 19:00 (twenty-one years ago) link

when was this, anyway?

hstencil, Wednesday, 2 April 2003 19:00 (twenty-one years ago) link

(I wonder if he's gonna use that two million to build a girl.)

mark p (Mark P), Wednesday, 2 April 2003 19:02 (twenty-one years ago) link

95-97

or did you mean the thread?

i hate when the third release from an album gets to number 1

Sterling Clover (s_clover), Wednesday, 2 April 2003 19:25 (twenty-one years ago) link

oh okay well I get two of 'em now, anyways.

hstencil, Wednesday, 2 April 2003 19:27 (twenty-one years ago) link

Okay yeah looking back there were only two. I was going to make a joke about going "where there are no bars" but figured I didn't wanna push the issue.

Sterling Clover (s_clover), Wednesday, 2 April 2003 21:26 (twenty-one years ago) link

Be alot cooler if he put a flux capacitor in there.

But it still wouldn't be as cool as an oscillation overthruster.

Chris Barrus (Chris Barrus), Wednesday, 2 April 2003 21:40 (twenty-one years ago) link

No. The most motivated geeks in the world are Slashdot posters.

Millar (Millar), Wednesday, 2 April 2003 21:48 (twenty-one years ago) link

beats Beatlemania.

I would so pay two million dollars for a house like the one they had in Help! Assuming I, yknow, had two million to spare.
