The decepticons totally rooled overall except maybe the dino-bots and those construction-bots or poss was it bumblebee? Him and the ambulence dude.

Sterling Clover (s_clover), Thursday, 3 April 2003 06:44 (twenty-three years ago)

Has everyone gone mad? Not one mention of Optimus Prime?! I'll take Soundwave for the Decepticon 'cause I bet he'd be great fun at a party.

J-rock (Julien Sandiford), Thursday, 3 April 2003 07:50 (twenty-three years ago)

A: Optimus Prime
D: Soundwave

stevem (blueski), Thursday, 3 April 2003 08:44 (twenty-three years ago)

A: Bumblebee. come on. cutesy, so he wins hands down. plus, his friendship with spike was quite touching.

D: Starscream, nooch. he's such a bitch! nuff said.

hon. mention to soundwave for having the coolest voice, but starscream's bitchiness slaps his megatron butt-kissing, bad-medium playing ass to the floor. aye, killer flaw: soundwave = cassette only.

g-kit (g-kit), Thursday, 3 April 2003 08:51 (twenty-three years ago)

haha, imagine how much cooler Soundwave couldve been if he supported a record deck

good point tho, Soundwave = sycophant extremis, Sky Warp i liked cos he had a cool name and could teleport

stevem (blueski), Thursday, 3 April 2003 09:00 (twenty-three years ago)

Jazz had the coolest voice, for gods sake.

Fuzzy (Fuzzy), Thursday, 3 April 2003 09:03 (twenty-three years ago)

Aw c'mon! It was the '80s man. I'm sure Soundwave can play CDs, MDs and Mp3s by now. As for kissing Megatron's ass, okay he did. But if your boss was a bad-tempered gun you'd probably toe the line too!

J-rock (Julien Sandiford), Thursday, 3 April 2003 09:04 (twenty-three years ago)

Oh come on, Soundwave was SHIT. He had a rubbish part in everything and he transformed into a cassette player. Cool vocodered voice, mind.

His tapes, on the other hand, were classic.

Matt DC (Matt DC), Thursday, 3 April 2003 09:05 (twenty-three years ago)

Soundwave as a toy was alright actually - its really daft that as a tape player he was roughly the same size as Optimus Prime's truck cab tho

stevem (blueski), Thursday, 3 April 2003 09:38 (twenty-three years ago)

. . and that Megatron became a weedy little gun. But, hey, fog of youth and all that. There is a Transformers game coming out for PC sometime in the future that looks very, very good.

Lynskey (Lynskey), Thursday, 3 April 2003 13:54 (twenty-three years ago)

UNICRON

jess (dubplatestyle), Thursday, 3 April 2003 14:15 (twenty-three years ago)

unicron is not an autobot or a decepticon < /smart ass>

jel -- (jel), Thursday, 3 April 2003 14:52 (twenty-three years ago)

(I knew this thread would devolve into a Soundwave vs Starscream FITE.)

Dan Perry (Dan Perry), Thursday, 3 April 2003 15:07 (twenty-three years ago)

Autobot: Grimlock, especially from comic book. The actual toy though would be Jetfire. Looked just like Veritech from Robotech: Macross. Skyfire sucked though.

Deceptacon: Shockwave with Soundwave as close second.

badgerminor (badgerminor), Thursday, 3 April 2003 17:43 (twenty-three years ago)

i agree Jetfire was the best toy/figure

stevem (blueski), Thursday, 3 April 2003 19:32 (twenty-three years ago)

Decepticon: Galvatron
Autobot: Hot Rod/Rodimus Prime

Wyndham Earl, Friday, 4 April 2003 01:45 (twenty-three years ago)

Was Skyfire the big jet who started out as a Decipticon infiltrator to the Autobots but the wholesome goodness of the Autobots converted him?

Leee (Leee), Friday, 4 April 2003 04:48 (twenty-three years ago)

yep

jel -- (jel), Friday, 4 April 2003 06:02 (twenty-three years ago)

Cyclonus
Cliffjumper

In the comic:

Shockwave (who was, like, 180 degrees from the sycophant he played on the show)

Ratchet

Alfred, Lord Sotosyn, Saturday, 14 July 2007 18:17 (eighteen years ago)

jel --, Sunday, 15 July 2007 20:57 (eighteen years ago)

he was a lover of HOIST

blueski, Sunday, 15 July 2007 23:02 (eighteen years ago)
