My puppy may be a bit of a liar

I had a dream last night that I was chatting to my puppy after he had returned from a walk with Mr. estela.

Me (happy high-pitched squeaky voice): Harry! what did you do on your walk?

Harry (cheery puppy voice): I chased a bird and some crabbits!

Me: Crabbits??!!

Harry: Yes, some crabbits!

estela, Thursday, 3 April 2003 20:23 (twenty-three years ago)

a mythical creature akin to our beloved chickenbear perhaps?

HE IS SUCH A GOOD BOY!

estela, Thursday, 3 April 2003 20:35 (twenty-three years ago)

When I told Mr. estela about my dream he asked enviously, 'What did his voice sound like?' and I said, 'Oh, you know'.

estela, Thursday, 3 April 2003 20:39 (twenty-three years ago)

I think my puppy is as well, estela - someone weed on the floor, and I asked her, but she said "it wasn't me."

luna (luna.c), Thursday, 3 April 2003 21:21 (twenty-three years ago)

At the risk of maybe coming across as just a wee bit twee, I just asked my kitten how she felt about our new rug, and she told me that it was just fine.

I was going to start a thread called "Do cats eat yaki soba?" But then I found out that they did.

Ally (mlescaut), Friday, 4 April 2003 00:22 (twenty-three years ago)

OMIGOD HOW COULD I HAVE MISSED THIS THREAD?!?

THIS IS EVEN MORE TWEE THAN THE CATS AND TEA THREAD GOOD GOD

not as long as the cats & tea thread has the bottom picture in it ...

http://www.basementart.homestead.com/files/tea.jpg

... but now this thread has this picture too, so it's just as twee now!

Tad (llamasfur), Sunday, 6 April 2003 05:16 (twenty-three years ago)

Cute thread, estela. I love the title too.

I don't have a puppy, but I have imagined voices for how my kitties might sound if they started talking to me one day.

Imagine what would happen if one day your puppy really did start talking to you and he had a really low, dorky voice. Like if he sounded like Deputy Dawg.
