I think this fight sums up 300 years of UK/US rivarly. So, who wins? "Cheap as chips" or "Wooooooh!"? Fake tan, or overly high bloody pressure? Antique furntiture or Arn Anderson?

The choice is yours.

Ric Flair just looks like a walking advert warning of the dangers of sexagenarian steroid abuse, its entertaining but so very disturbing

Dickinson is keeping it real

ric flair reminds me of that wooden ronseal man off the old advert

stevem is OTM, but Dickinson looks like a walking advert for the dangers of fake tan abuse. So, it all equals out IMHO.

That said, I'm sure that Dickinson could kick Flairs arse, so Dickinson by a country mile.....

I don't know this Flair guy, but he looks like a haggard old man with a bad hair transplant on the photo.

The Duke is invincible, anyway.

I love Ric Flair, and only know DD from irritating impersonations.

five years pass...

As of August 3, 2008, Ric Flair's management company has confirmed that he has been let go from his contract with WWE. The news comes after WWE had Ric Flair pulled from several autograph sessions and NWA events. The Nature Boy released the following statement: "WWE and I parted on the best of terms. This gives me the chance to pursue new opportunities...corporate speaking engagements, product sponsorships, autograph shows for my loyal fans (who made me what I am today) and film and television roles. My agent and I are very excited about what the future holds!" [1]

I have his autobiography, "To Be The Man," but still can't bring myself to read it

what do NWA events have to do with WWE? (I have been mostly detached from the non-murder-suicide side of the world of wrestling for the last, ooh, half dozen years. But I did recently find a video of a pay-per-view from 1997 and discovered that a third of the people on the card were dead. WWE: introducing yr children to death so you don't have to.)

There's no way in hell I'd wear a t-shirt that said "Wooooooooo!" but I'd gladly pay for a t-shirt that said "You are dealing with Dickinson!".

Only thing I remember from Flair's book is him proudly describing attempting to gouge Eric Bischoff's eye out after Bischoff had suggested they bury the hatchet.
