Whoever he might be, he might well be getting on/letting the pressure of constant bombardment and iminent martyrdomget to him, but he sure looks cheerful, and also kinda friendly too, no?

He looks like he could play a Wacky Next-Door Neighbor or Wacky Uncle (the Mel Brooks episodes of Mad About You have been rerunning lately) on a sitcom. If it IS Saddam, that might solve a lot of problems right there.
