Irksome Radio Presenters

For no apparent reason, this Wes feller that does the top 40 is really, really getting my dander up at present. It's the fact that he aggressively pursues a policy of not having any personality aside from occasionally sneering at some suitably easy target. He seems like the ultimate 'Hey Guys!' kind of bloke...

Mo Dutta is also irritatingly fucking smug. But who else?

Claire Sturgess on XFM - her ditzy indie-girl persona and fake enthusiasm irritates me no end.

But I don't listen much to music radio anymore. It's all a waste of time with the possible exception of Charlie Gillett and Sean Rowley on Radio London, Late Junction on Radio 3, and John Kennedy and Flow Motion on XFM.

That girl Kate someone who was on the last series of Big Brother pretends to be a radio DJ these days on a commercial station and she is really really bad at it.

Jeremy Vine, lunchtimes on Radio 2, is my new hero.

Chris Moyles. We've done a thread on him before but he is the worst DJ ever employed by the BBC - worse even than DLT or Gary Davies or Adrian Juste.

He's ok. At times you can sense his desire to sneakingly mock the Daily Mail reader types who ring his show. But they did have a discussion a couple of months ago about whether homosexuality was "acceptable" in modern society, ffs.
