So, last week my pooter at work had a complete nervous breakdown, it kept asking for the XP disc thingy to be put back so it could reinstall shit. The IT man came, scratched his head and proclaimed the XP disc disc was no longer in the company's possession (how the f*ck this happened I dunno - it's not that old!). So now I'm back to Windows 2000 and it's driving me mental!! I can't get the bullets to work on this damn PowerPoint slide and I'm gonna start throwing things soon!!!!!!!

oh dear, I hope this doesn't happen to us! We're getting XP (and pooters with flat screens) to boot!

you have my every sympathy smee, tho quite frankly that kinda thing happens so often here I'm (almost) past caring. I find it's always a good idea to have a paper back-up that you can distribute to ppl when you give a presentation in case something goes wrong....

(It's a very specific bid actually, so a generic presentaion wouldn't do any good anyway)
