Has anyone seen Track 29?
It's this sorta weirdo movie, probably about 15 years old, with Gary Oldman, Christopher Lloyd, Sandra Bernhardt and Theresa Russell.
There's this one scene where Goldman (who's searching for his birth mother) is hitching a ride with a trucker with a cute little Mom tattoo on his bicep. He gets the trucker talking about it, and then the trucker takes off his shirt to show a jailhouse tatt that says something like "bad motherfucker" or whatever.
Oldman says, "who's that mother then?"
the trucker grins a big shiteater, and jerks his thumb at his chest and says "IIIII'M that mother!"

Horace Mann (Horace Mann), Wednesday, 9 April 2003 17:26 (twenty-two years ago)

Classic.

Amateurist (amateurist), Wednesday, 9 April 2003 18:24 (twenty-two years ago)

i'm terrified of my mum: she only cares about numbers. i always wished i had claire huxtable, even though my mum told me she was a drug addict in real life.

Clare (not entirely unhappy), Wednesday, 9 April 2003 18:30 (twenty-two years ago)

Hstencil's right, his mom is awesome. And totally flexible. And she has this thing she does with her tongue...

Prime reason for camping outside her door, I'd say;>

My mum has a brilliant mind, even though she drives me crazy much of the time. (I've learned tis beneficial to visit for short periods.)

Still, classic.

What?!

Cozen (Cozen), Sunday, 11 May 2003 16:21 (twenty-two years ago)

Eh? It's Mothers' Day here in America, that's all I meant.

Ned Raggett (Ned), Sunday, 11 May 2003 16:22 (twenty-two years ago)

Dearest Mother,

This is just to say that I'm thinking of you on Mother's day, and of the beautiful way that you gave me life, through your glorious vagina. I'm glad you have a vagina, Mom.

Happy Mother's Day.

Kenan Hebert (kenan), Sunday, 11 May 2003 16:27 (twenty-two years ago)

Oh, I didn't realise that Mother's Day wasn't universal. Happy Mother's Day America!

Cozen (Cozen), Sunday, 11 May 2003 16:27 (twenty-two years ago)

I don't think we should be destroying mothers. Is this a US tradition?

N. (nickdastoor), Sunday, 11 May 2003 16:29 (twenty-two years ago)
