David Hasselhoff...no, Milton Derr.

Brian Sewell, the pompous ass.

katie, Friday, 7 September 2001 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

Seconded, Katie. It's also the safest answer 'cos I've never met Saatchi or Mary Boone. There should be another category of People Who Are Supposed To Be Art World Arses But Were OK To Me, then I could say Andrea Rosen.

Anthony, would you like me to send you Damien Loeb q'n'a where he bangs on about in-teg-ri-tah? It's hi-i-i-larious.

I wonder if I know this Damien. Is he a Greenwich brat?

Sean, Friday, 7 September 2001 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

I - er - third Mr Sewell, even though his pompous flutey voice makes me laugh. The worst kind of "oh, you sill provincials don't matter" snob, and a raging misogynist to boot. I have heard some manky stuff abt that fellow who was married to la cicciolina (Honestly - I have forgotten his name ha!ha!ha!), but can't remember any of it, sad to say

Sean: if you know Margaret and Moby, you know Damien. I think he is from Darien but was Moby's best school friend. Twunt.

i dont know shit about art world, but... i sure do like my book of photography that i bought which was all from saatchi gallery. round these parts there are many dale chihuly haters (im kind of a hater myself, i do like his painting kind of) a few years ago there was an event where some folks held a raffle, and the grand prize was getting to smash a dale chihuly glass piece with a sledgehammer at a big finale party thing. yay!
