Ab-Roller, the translucent blue plastic one. My friend rolled it the wrong way and it exploded. I kindly explained to her the purpose of the huge orange arrow decal pointing the other way.

Chia Pet, cause it doesn't really claim to be useful at all! Wait, that's not really full-length infomercial fodder is it? In my mind it's in the same category as Starfrit gadgets. I'm often tempted by Starfrit gadget ads, cause gosh wouldn't it be nice to peel an apple that easily! but then I think of all the Pampered Chef shit I've had foisted on me and decide I'd rather have a Chia Pet anyway.

Is Epil-Stop-N-Spray any good?

Bryan (Bryan), Friday, 11 April 2003 04:08 (twenty-two years ago)

Those Ronco rotary cooker things? I don't know how much they cost, but they're really not bad.

nabisco (nabisco), Friday, 11 April 2003 05:53 (twenty-two years ago)

(Oh no! I am not actually asking Bryan if Epil Stop'n'Spray is a Ronco rotary cooker.)

I know a guy who swore by his Blueblocker sunglasses.

I got the Ronco food dehydrator and it makes some pretty decent beef jerky and banana chips... though its been in my basement for about 4 years

the webpage of Joseph Enterprises, who have, inter alia, given the world the chia pet and the Clapper.

ain't capitalism grand?

what's up with the q-ray ionized bracelet? does it work according to the same principle that governs the sensation of chewing on tin foil with molars full of dental work?

j.a.e., Friday, 11 April 2003 07:59 (twenty-two years ago)

It is not, nabisco. It's that crazy spray on hair remover stuff. I've got a bit of hair on my back, but I don't think it's enough for me to actually go to someone for a waxing, plus the stuff is pretty funny.

i would go for these everlasting knives who can cut through wood and coconuts. it looks like it's the real deal.

My parents have the rotary cooker. They like it, but it was a bit odd coming home to discover your parents had ordered something from an infomercials.
