Melbourne - Anyone want a pet cat?

I've got a beautiful tabby cat called Bushell. He is three years old and neutered and microchipped. He is loving and affectionate and also very independent (i.e. can be left outside - cars are scared of him).

Anyway, he needs a new home because he does not like other animals. He tries to kill my other cat every time he sees her and he stalked the dog to the end of the hallway and then attacked it, even though she is about six times his size!

So, any petless Melbournites out there, there is a beautiful boy waiting here for you. Reply here if you want him coz hotmail is not good.

Yeah you know, like the microchip under the cat's skin implanted so when it gets lost it can be scanned at the vets and you know who it belongs to... or is this only an Australian thing?

I know it's a cliche, but Toraneko's cat actually reminds me of Toraneko.

Haha, me too.

BTW, those microchips are a really great thing. My dog got lost without his identification, and we got him back through the microchip.

do animals mind being microchipped?

your cat looks gorgeous, toraneko. unfortunately i'm in ireland (and my lease probably doesn't allow cats anyway)

Awww, he's lovely. I wish I could help but I'm in the UK.

I'm still worried about this microchipped business.

Yeah, I don't know of any microchipped cybered-up cats in America. It seems like a good idea, I can't stop envisioning cats being swiped over supermarket-like scanners though.

that's pretty much what they do - except that it's a hand-held scanner.

My cat and my dogs are all microchipped - it's mandatory adopting from the LA County pounds.

Speaking of which, does anyone in LA want a cat? He's lovely, but he hate hate hates the dogs and hides all day - I feel terrible for him.
