Mary (Mary), Monday, 14 April 2003 22:25 (twenty-two years ago)

I used to do the Aladdin Sane makeup once in a while, but it really really really really did not go with the beard.

Tep (ktepi), Monday, 14 April 2003 22:26 (twenty-two years ago)

i was trying to look scarey in that, but i just look petulant as usual. (the other people in the foto might be ilxers, and they might not.)

di smith (lucylurex), Monday, 14 April 2003 22:39 (twenty-two years ago)

Heh. I recognize certain personages.

Ned Raggett (Ned), Monday, 14 April 2003 23:16 (twenty-two years ago)

Bang a gong!! ...er...I mean...no.

Skottie, Monday, 14 April 2003 23:19 (twenty-two years ago)

I never did glam rock very well, I am too boyish.

Ally (mlescaut), Tuesday, 15 April 2003 01:16 (twenty-two years ago)

I wish. I am more mock glam rock than the real thing.

Nicole (Nicole), Tuesday, 15 April 2003 01:19 (twenty-two years ago)

Glam.

Sean (Sean), Tuesday, 15 April 2003 02:15 (twenty-two years ago)

I'm a glitter rocker, thank you. *stomps off in thigh-high sequin boots with three-inch heels*

Jobriath Rosen (Jody Beth Rosen), Tuesday, 15 April 2003 02:25 (twenty-two years ago)

ducklingmonster, Tuesday, 15 April 2003 03:27 (twenty-two years ago)

Only in my mind. Tho I did the hair band thing for at least two Halloweens. I was going for Nikki Sixx, but ended up at best as Ian Astbury, and everyone thought I was Slash.

gabbneb (gabbneb), Tuesday, 15 April 2003 04:04 (twenty-two years ago)

my gran dressed me up as adam ant when I was 4, I was allergic to the make up.

jel -- (jel), Tuesday, 15 April 2003 08:00 (twenty-two years ago)

I'm glam in SPIRIT and that's what matters. Honestly.

Justyn Dillingham (Justyn Dillingham), Tuesday, 15 April 2003 08:23 (twenty-two years ago)

I'm currently inventing Gleamo.

Colin Meeder (Mert), Tuesday, 15 April 2003 08:32 (twenty-two years ago)

I spent the morning before ATP ogling David Bowie's thighs in the company of somebody else of this parish who says he wore make-up back in the day. But today I am wearing very neutral shades of Clinique. So possibly I am not that glam rock.

Madchen (Madchen), Tuesday, 15 April 2003 08:41 (twenty-two years ago)

Madchen has outed me. However, it was a long time ago, when I was in my teens.

Maybe I still look like Brian Eno though.

Mooro (Mooro), Tuesday, 15 April 2003 09:10 (twenty-two years ago)

my gran dressed me up as adam ant when I was 4, I was allergic to the make up.

Aw, that would be the most adorable costume ever. These days I fear if I ever dressed my kid up as Adam Ant I would be arrested for child abuse.

Nicole (Nicole), Tuesday, 15 April 2003 10:57 (twenty-two years ago)

How to have fun in the post office when you're a young Adam Ant fan: take the white edging off a strip of stamps, lick, apply to nose.

Madchen (Madchen), Tuesday, 15 April 2003 11:02 (twenty-two years ago)

Linking back to the 'are any of you punks' thread, I saw one gig where the Damned were on first, and my friends and I were in our punk gear. In the interval, we removed some stuff, and got out loads of tinsel and stuff and draped that all over ourselves, in preparation for the headliner, T. Rex. That's about as close as I got to going glam.

Martin Skidmore (Martin Skidmore), Tuesday, 15 April 2003 16:47 (twenty-two years ago)

How absolutely gorgeous.
