Time.

hstencil, Tuesday, 15 April 2003 02:21 (twenty-two years ago)

I take bread for my friends, but I get it for free anyway....
I actually stole for the first time about a week ago. I stole two pint glasses from the pub in the student union. I guess school is kind of equivalent to a job, except I have to pay to be there. I don't feel guilty.

When I was a young'un, I worked at a grocery store for about a year. By the time my co-workers and I all got fired, we'd stolen so much merchandise that they had to completely upgrade the security system to ward off theft.

There were some great parties though. Get a friend to work one overnight shift (being the only person in the building aside from stockers at the back), fill up a few shopping carts with beer and take off.

Good times.

I could use a friend working that shift now. Paying for groceries sucks.

miloauckerman (miloauckerman), Tuesday, 15 April 2003 03:57 (twenty-two years ago)

i used to run the shipping and receiving dept. at a furniture store.
things had a habbit of falling off the truck once in a while.
for a bit i was using bean bag seats like currency - traded one for a dozen free cds from the music store where a friend of mine worked.

Nothing except time and bandwidth. I'm a saint, really.

Someone ELSE keeps stealing my stapler, though. Not happy.

rener (rener), Tuesday, 15 April 2003 08:13 (twenty-two years ago)

I find pens from work at home all the time. Sometimes I take big envelopes for mailing cds. Or make copies or print out personal stuff. Mostly, I just steal office supplies for work from the office. Kind of dumb because I wouldn't have to pay for them anyway. Pure laziness I guess.

Sarah McLusky (coco), Tuesday, 15 April 2003 12:45 (twenty-two years ago)

I am the queen of office theft. I have stolen magazines, books, stationary, tights, bangles, make up, hair products, sugar, CDs, records and an A3 photo of New Order.

(These are all things that no one wanted anyway...)

Anna (Anna), Tuesday, 15 April 2003 12:51 (twenty-two years ago)

Pens, three kept in my bag at all time.

Mr Noodles (Mr Noodles), Tuesday, 15 April 2003 12:53 (twenty-two years ago)

Those little half-sized post-its for indicating who-sent-what-fax-to-who, sometimes you can even stick them on things that aren't faxes.

alexfack (alexfack), Tuesday, 15 April 2003 13:11 (twenty-two years ago)

Yowsa.

Ned Raggett (Ned), Tuesday, 15 April 2003 14:00 (twenty-two years ago)

About two pens in nearly four years. Must try harder!

Martin Skidmore (Martin Skidmore), Tuesday, 15 April 2003 17:01 (twenty-two years ago)

Once I stole a space heater.

Women steal more!

SplendidMullet (iamamonkey), Tuesday, 15 April 2003 17:27 (twenty-two years ago)

Really, it's only Ally and I being degenerate.

lollies.

di smith (lucylurex), Tuesday, 15 April 2003 22:22 (twenty-two years ago)

A couple of near-worthless foreign language textbooks.
3 packs of classification stickers: Confidential, Secret and Top Secret.
That's basically it. The government buys shitty pens, and security's just a little bit tight as one might imagine, so anything that doesn't fit into a hip pocket is out of the question. Everything cool is kept under lock and key.

Let's not get started with the college radio station...

El Diablo Robotico (Nicole), Tuesday, 13 April 2004 19:11 (twenty-one years ago)

I steal time. Damned effectively too, I should say.
