wow my first question and it's about PS, how geeky. Well? Is anyone else using it? Do you like the little tool specific bar at the bottom or does it drive you nuts?

It takes forever to load on my bloody Powerbook.

are you on Mac or PC? on mine (mac) the tool bar appears at the top... which is OK

I still haven't had enough time to work out what improvements there are on 5.5

Surely you can WOB a b/w EPS in Photoshop? I spent 20 minutes trying to today (ridiculously i am the office expert), and failed. So the ad looks rubbish becoz the disabled sign is a little white square with a black wheelchair person in the middle of a black panel (stead of a WHITE wp in the middle of a black panel).

I'm on a PC, pentium4, and it loads slowly and drags everything down.

The little tool bar is movable but I'm not sure if I like it or not. Sometimes it's useful, othertimes it just gets in the way. Other than a few tool extras I haven't seen much improvement over 5.5. I'm glad they're moving the text editing more towards Illustrator-style but it's not quite right yet.

And why do they maintain ImageReady as a separate program? If it's not available as a standalone program than why not just integrate the features it doesn't share with PS into PS and be done with it!

I use it almost every day and it works just fine for me.
