Is anyone else doing this, or am I as pathetic as I feel?

I feel slightly guilty and embarassed about being up so high, I might as well wear a placard that reads "No, I really don't have anything better to do".

ILM = a nice home-cooked meal from Mom. That is, substantial & necessary every so often, to counter-act the numerous bags of Worms you scarfed down during the semester. Plus, you like Mom. And, even then, with Mom, you'll order some Chinese take-out, because it's convenient. (Also, you get to do laundry for free.)
Not that you New York cats would know about that, of course.
Personally, I'm hoping to reach 100 before Ms. Kearney hits 500. Doubtful that'll happen, since my posts are longer than they are frequent.

The key to being the queen of things is to talk a lot and go on and on and on. Hence, I can beat you all at this game.
I feel compelled to point out that as of this moment I'm within three posts of Nicole. DG, you're next!

Sub-question: web site stats. Mine change very slowly so I'm not too excited by them, but I do like checking them regularly to see if I recognize people from their hostnames, or if I've gotten a new referral.

But just you watch, when I have to go this afternoon and sort out my flat, Mark will sneak back up on me. Humph. It's really paranoid-making, being number two. (who is number one?)

Also, should we set up a definition for "post" to allow for a level playing field? We should set up a committee & table these discussions at the next ILE/M conference, and implement these standards at the beginning of next season.
Would anyone like a Triscuit?

Anyhow - is there anyone yet reading ILE who doesnt read ILM? Then the Grate War can really kick off.

As of this post, I will be within five posts of DG. ROCK.

FYI - Do you realize that ILE has, in less than a month, generated 1/6th the posts that ILM has created in 10 months? 5,000+ posts here, 30,000+ posts there. Wild, wacky stuff. (And we've done it WITHOUT soul. Hot damn.)
