but every time i go i end up staring at the luscious farm fed body of some mamas boy whos come to the big city to learn all about the good lord, and that boy will go back to his small town, with his fancy learning, and tell us them all about the lord.
all of them, their painful earnestness, their belief in the authority of the kjv, their fear of all the gnostic secerts, the way they intone lord, their hymns about blood and tears, which make my mind wander into other fluids.
i read thru texts and wander thru corridors, and go to church there every so often, just cause i am taking some theology courses at the u, but mostly i go and see people from bashaw, rimbey, blackfaelds, high level, red earth, grand prarie, balzac.

its called taylor university theology, and all of the buidlings are this lovely butter yellow brick and there are only 350 students.

im not taking courses there, but i am taking two christian scripture courses at uni.
it was v. nice, young men were outside on the lawn playing football, some with out shirts on, there was a hot dog roast, and i had a hot dog.
i didnt get much studying done.
