What do you reckon on this fellow?...He was once a fine comedy actor with films such as the Burbs, Turner and Hooch, Dragnet and Joe versus the Volcano. The 1990's has seen him become the biggest actor on planet earth, but I really just wish he'd get away from all that sentimental stuff and make films about bumbling fools again. Forest Gump...bluergh!

He sure as hell stole Steve Guttenbergs career if you want my opinion. Imagine how much better a movie like Gump would have been if a subtle, nuanced (and yet still curly haired) actor like Guttenberg had been in the lead role.

Hanks seems like a generally nice man who has fallen in with a bad crowd (Zemeckis). More stuff like Punchline please. His best and his worst films both co-starred Sally Fields...
