(haha everyone read this and ran away to turn of the oxy-acetyline torch they left burning on top of the woodshavings and parrafin cupboard)

Haha. I always time my cooking and bathtubs and stuff with my mobile phone, that way I never have these kind of accidents.

I left the chocolate ice cream out on the kitchen table for over an hour last night. Instead of throwing it out I put it back in the freezer: it's now hard as a rock.

also we invented air conditioning: it's called OPEN AND CLOSE THE WINDOW (if indeed both positions are actively possible on yr window)

Bbbbut American's can't use that method because they invented hot air!!!

And we're loudmouthed boors, too!

I ruined my kettle once. We don't have the plastic automatic things that plug in to the mains because our voltage is only 110, making heat-up time unfeasible next to good old stove-top flame. So the gas flame just pummeled the bottom of the thing for like an hour. The inside had tranformed into some burnt rust-cake. :(

uh, a few weeks ago i had a bagel in the toaster and it didn't eject properly so it kind of stayed there toasting and while i was at the computer in the other room my toaster caught fire and the kitchen filled up with smoke. oops.
