Me Me Me, Monday, 10 September 2001 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

someone needs to call ally on her shit big-time. nor does anyone seem to have grasped the irony of her having branded another poster a borderline. ally is the uber-fucking-borderline, needs about ten years of shrinkage, and is easily the most displeasing thing about this entire board.

moon river, Monday, 10 September 2001 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

Bored office workers unite and take back the board! I find Anthony's posting pretensious and dull and often mispelled (hence the dyslexic gay dating the hyper tense jew). If I read another mispelled pretentious "witty insight", I shall scream. He seems to reach for the dictionary everytime he posts. Oooh! What a big word, gee my thesaurus is handy. I think he lies alot about his life and is very into amateur dramatics.

I find Robin boring and repititive, possessing a mediocre mind and is most willing to share his dreadful thoughts, which read like reading Kafka backwards and just as entertaining. Definitely should get laid more often.

Mark S. is a bitter hack who has invented a very annoying droog queer culture way of writing which is well, kind of daft, considering that it is a thinly veiled rip off of James Joyce.

Dave Q. is a judgmental neurotic soon to be surburban folk who goes looney and then reverts back to normal.

Dan the Harvard Man, is someone who enjoys money but wishes it came without responsibility and often reverts back to the eighties for revisiting.

Over all, an interesting sector of what terminal boredom can do and achieve.

Do you really *think* I put much thought in my typing for the internet. Please! : - D (that's an open guffaw!)

Alan Smithee, Monday, 10 September 2001 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

Typos are usually caused by the accidental pressing of adjacent keys - which clearly couldn't be the case in four of the above words. No, I think you're just shite at spelling.

scott, Monday, 10 September 2001 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

Just laz-ee.

(notice gentle readers, instead of taking up my points of attack, Mr. Scott Bassetthound decides to attack the aesthetics of typos.)

Lovely use of the word adjacent Scotty my lad, you advance in the next round of the spelling bee!

doomie, Monday, 10 September 2001 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

I find the chaos that surrounds me life either amusing ( my neighbors) or tragic. If it is amusing , i want other people to laugh and if it is tragic i need some help dealing with it. Do you need proof that these things have happened. DO YOU WANT ME TO SEND YOU THE FUCKING PAPERWORK BECAUSE I CAN !

What do you mean i lie about my life ? Do you know me ? Do Spend time with me ? Are you a Stalker because if you are you are just too pathetic for words

What do you mean David is hyper tense ? Are you suggesting he is neurotic ? Are you that petty and Anti Semetic. or are you suggesting he has heart problems, which is untrue ?

This is a forum for expressing your opinons. I have them. People have them. We talk. I do not use any larger words here then any one else. If you have problems with my vocabulary then get a bigger dictionary. Often you can purchase them in bookstores. You will find a listing in the pretty yellow books your phone company sends you every year. Somewhere between bookkeeping and bowling . As well i really do not try to be witty. I have been told here that i am by people who are alot more clever then the likes of you.

Why don't you just call me a phag and go slithering back to the cave you crawled out of DOOMPATROLL . and for the rest of the posters. If you want me to put these posts thru the spellchecker i will. As well i live on a genral policy of not feeding these assholes but i was really hurt !

anthony, Monday, 10 September 2001 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

Ahem:

My best friend is queer. I have no issues with queerdom.

I am jewish/catholic. I have immunity in all senses of the word.

Hyper tension is a fun word to spell.

*steps down off of evil podium*

doomie, Monday, 10 September 2001 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

Basically, Anthony, karma's a bitch. See yr posts on me at the Doompatrol Classic or Dud thread.

*shrugs evil shoulders and walks away*

doomie, Monday, 10 September 2001 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

I have immunity in all senses of the word.

It's the fact that you think this that makes you such an insufferable person, doompatrol.

Ned Raggett, Monday, 10 September 2001 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

you make no sense
You attack and do not contribute and are like a 6 year old shitting in the corner of the sandbox so no one else can have their fun
Why dont you quit with the ad hominem(sp) bull shit and go back to the little treehouse you set up in yahoo.

anthony, Monday, 10 September 2001 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

First off:

Everyone mentions stalking, stalking this and stalking that, listen children, you have not been stalked. My best friend V. who is a beautiful girl was stalked for four years. He eventually ended up raping and killing her.

As for a few messasges on a board, it BARELY qualifies as stalking in my mind. It's fun. It's neurotic. It's kraz-ee.

As for stalking, you live in total and absolute fear!!!! My friend V. was sixteen years old when she was raped and killed and this? Is stalking...baby, you really do not know what you are talking about.

I'm just bored and the question was what I real thought. So I said what I really thought. And know, of course, I have to defend it, so I did. Live and learn, man, live and learn.

evil bye byes

doomie, Monday, 10 September 2001 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

Nah, Ned, that was an off-the-cuff comment as the majority of my stuff on here. But hey! I do enjoy this board. I've built up such a negative presence that I only can contribute negativity, cause if I tried to participate in a conversation, I only get: *oh* it's doompatrol.

Sorry man. Some of you are interesting and I enjoy reading some of the threads.

doomie, Monday, 10 September 2001 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

I won't deny you your pain and the fact you have to live with crap like that, Doompatrol -- thankfully I don't. But I have to say it again, no disrespect to your friend -- just because you've been through some of the heaviest shit possible, does that excuse acting like a self-satisfied prick 99% of the time?

From what Tom says, you can be a perfectly enjoyable soul in a different context. Whenever somebody finally gets through to you and makes you drop your shtick, it's proof there's a human being there. So why the hell do you want to keep acting like an irritant when you don't have to?

Ned Raggett, Monday, 10 September 2001 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

Okay, now having read this new comment directly to me -- you make it sound like you feel you have no chance but to act out a role. Seems to me the easiest way around that is to not immediately always *use* that role, yes?

Ned Raggett, Monday, 10 September 2001 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

Yeah, yer right Neddy...

Sometimes, I find this board, enjoyable, or eles would I still be there? No...

But sometimes, it pisses me off and I have to put in a complaint. I mean, I hardly post anymore, do I? No.

It's coo'.

and again, I use the board in a bad way, I'll admit, when things are tough, I end up using message boards as a sounding board for my psyche. Which is a terrible thing to do!!!

So, keeping in control, and shutting up!

doomie, Monday, 10 September 2001 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

the funny thing is, that, a few months ago, when I was going through personal trauma, and turned into a big TROLL was v. v. good for me, as I was going through heavy shit and all of my negativity was fed through what I did. Bad move for others and you Neddy made me realize the error of my ways. Yes, everyone is human on this board and yes, occassionally I do enjoy reading it. I found it more addictive than crack!!!! For awhile ... but is it not, the lack of censorship, that makes this board interesting. I mean, I do have negative comments, but, if everything was censors, you wouldnt really get the whole spectrum and personality of that human....

Dunno...

But I've got to go man. See you chums later.

doomie, Monday, 10 September 2001 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

"We're not enemies, we just disagree"

But I have to say it again, no disrespect to your friend -- just because you've been through some of the heaviest shit possible, does that excuse acting like a self-satisfied prick 99% of the time

And I take offense to DPs insinuation that we don't know what we're talking about. The thing about "stalking" is that you don't know who is and who isn't really "stalking" you. But if someone appears to have an obsession with you, that's enough to make you afraid of that person, especially if you have a past history of being a victim of violence. If I wanted to stoop to DPs level, I'd say that if he'd been an actual victim and not a friend of one, he'd know that some kinds of fear and mistrust are not unreasonable. Don't give me this "I've been through all sorts of crap and you haven't" line. It's presumptuous and disrespectful toward ILE people who have been through all sorts of crap and just don't say so here.

MYOB, Monday, 10 September 2001 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

...again "off the cuff comment".

doomie, Monday, 10 September 2001 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

doompatrol/smithee = one of ally's borderline multiple personalities.

the big bad wolf, Monday, 10 September 2001 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

Give it a rest, would you doomie? Please, if you aren't going to contribute anything constructive then please, please leave. You're being rude about some perfectly nice people who don't deserve it. And before you feebly point at the infamous 'DoomPatrol classic or dud' thread, you did deserve that.

DG, Monday, 10 September 2001 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

This thread sucks. Several other threads around here specifically calling out people, started initially as a joke or not, suck. When did everyone become so bitter and mean at this joint? You're all assholes, and no, I'm not going anonymous because anonymity is for wankers, pussies and assholes. Quite frankly, any decent moderator would stop pointing out how DT "deserved" a thread dissing him and would just fucking delete threads like this. But then again my moderation style was one of dictatorial smoothness, not of letting the plebs have their day.

Secret Ark, Saturday, 3 November 2001 01:00 (twenty-four years ago)

I hate people who think that pretty people are necessarily dumb. I hate people who think that unpretty people are smart. I hate people who base their entire judgements of a persons personality on what they look like.

I hate blogs when they refer to me in a derogatory manner. I hate anonymous posters. I hate people who claim their age means they deserve more respect for their pitiful maundering opinions. Oh, and I hate people who think that their romantic attachments make them worthier people. I hate people going on about the world trade centre plane crashes- the only reason I watched was to gleefully follow the rising statistics with glee. I hate this overexaggerated reverence for human life, if you want to make an omelette you gotta break some eggs. I hate the self congratulatory christians who post smarmy messages to each other in a kind of behavious similar to apes picking nits off each others backs. I hate the maudlin threads espousing love and good will to all- conflict is what makes this place interesting. I hate people who think because they are beautiful they have a right to critisize everyone else. I hate people who are ugly and critisize everyone else. I hate the rainy fan club, I hate fan clubs. I hate mock lesbianism.

I love provocation

bored with this, Saturday, 3 November 2001 01:00 (twenty-four years ago)

It has come to my attention that some people think the last big entry was by me. this is untrue. to those of you who think i am a gutless bitch, think again, i have balls. anything i would like to bitch about on this forum, i have already bitched about, under my own name or the name "cheezwhizz" which i deliberately made it fairly obvious was me.

but for those of you who don't believe me, here's the facts of why that post was not actually me:

>>I hate blogs when they refer to me in a derogatory manner.

i did not write this. some of you who know me know that i had a spot of paranoia about somebody's blog ages ago, it was sorted out immediately. i have no hard feelings, how could i when the damn thing wasn't about me? but yes, i guess i would sympathize with somebody who had this happen to them, but i ain't got nothing to bitch about cos its NEVER happened to me.

>> I hate anonymous posters.

i don't hate or like anonymous posters. i try to understand the context of why they would want to be anonymous.

>> I hate people who claim their age means they deserve more respect for their pitiful maundering opinions.

actually, i don't agree with this. i mostly think that i can learn a lot from the experiential wisdom of people older than me.

>> Oh, and I hate people who think that their romantic attachments make them worthier people.

agreed. but it wasn't me. i'm sure i'm not the only person who holds this view.

>> I hate people going on about the world trade centre plane crashes- the only reason I watched was to gleefully follow the rising statistics with glee.

i have nothing against people talking about the WTC plane crashes, its a natural reaction to an appalling tragedy. c'mon guys, i'm not that fuckin callous!

>>I hate this overexaggerated reverence for human life, if you want to make an omelette you gotta break some eggs.

true. but it wasn't me. i am a lot more literal in my self- expression than this.

>>I hate the self congratulatory christians who post smarmy messages to each other in a kind of behavious similar to apes picking nits off each others backs.

i don't read the pro-christian threads, if there are any, i wouldn't know, i know they would annoy me IF I READ THEM!

>>I hate the maudlin threads espousing love and good will to all- conflict is what makes this place interesting.

true. but it wasn't me. i'm probably not the only person with this view around here.

>>I hate people who think because they are beautiful they have a right to critisize everyone else. I hate people who are ugly and critisize everyone else.

depends what they are criticizing, and depends if they are being self-righteous about it.

>> I hate the rainy fan club, I hate fan clubs.

i hate the rainy fan club, but i have nothing against rainy. i think the fact that so many guys on this board wanna get in rainy's pants just confirms what i already thought about straight guys: that they are a bunch of morons who's sexual desire is completely homogenous. i don't hate fan clubs, i am the president of fatnicks fan club so it'd be goddamm hypocritical of me to say that.

>>I hate mock lesbianism.

indeed i do. but i doubt i am the only person on this forum who hates it.

>>I love provocation.

who doesn't? we fuckin thrive on it, as we can see in so many threads around here.

di, Sunday, 4 November 2001 01:00 (twenty-four years ago)

Tracer Hand, Sunday, 4 November 2001 01:00 (twenty-four years ago)

di, Sunday, 4 November 2001 01:00 (twenty-four years ago)

Nope, and now I am finding this persona tiring. Too much aggravation. I am being bombarded with insults by Duane on your other thread. Thats the last time I bother with anonymous posting in a gossip-ridden hell hole like ILE. :)

Jane D, Sunday, 4 November 2001 01:00 (twenty-four years ago)

why does everyone always assume the worst of me? i thought everyone knew i was crap at articulating myself! please people, if you think i have wronged you or think i am getting the wrong end of the stick or giving you a hard time unfairly, at least give me a chance to defend myslef.

Menelaus Darcy, Monday, 5 November 2001 01:00 (twenty-four years ago)

oooh, sorry, did i offend a majority? tsk tsk, i should be concentrating on the real offenders, the minorities. right?

di, Monday, 5 November 2001 01:00 (twenty-four years ago)

This thread is an awful lot of fun if you're the moderator and can see who said what. Oh and thanks again for the vote of confidence up there, Ally.

DG, Monday, 5 November 2001 01:00 (twenty-four years ago)

Well, Greenfield, I think the thread resulted in exactly what the poster hoped it would, which is complete bad feelings and annoyance between apparently several posters spilling into multiple threads. So, again, I think the best idea, said rather harshly on an extremely stressful day for me (check the date, luv) and I apologize for the tone but trying to escape pandemonium for ten minutes and seeing the bullshit on this thread wasn't particularly lovely then or now, was to delete this thread.

But you do as you wish, it's obviously turning out to be a real charming winner of a thread.

And yes, Tracer, you are definitely some sort of mock lesbian. I've been watching you.

Ally, Monday, 5 November 2001 01:00 (twenty-four years ago)

heh, I bet it is DG. But then again it all seems to come out in the wash anyway doesn't it?

Menelaus Darcy, Monday, 5 November 2001 01:00 (twenty-four years ago)

If you don't want to be offended confucious say keep away from threads labelled 'what you REALLY think'

Menelaus Darcy, Monday, 5 November 2001 01:00 (twenty-four years ago)

oooh, sorry, did i offend a majority? tsk tsk, i should be concentrating on the real offenders, the minorities. right?

and who says that the only people you've offended with that statement have been white heterosexual males? you're sounding more and more like an utter and total bigot.

oh, and by the way, there are more women on the planet than there are men. longer lifespan, you know. so your talk of "majority/minority" is not only stupid, it's incorrect.

next time you're spewing hate, or don't know what you're talking about, or both, try thinking about it a little more.

I left this thread up because if people on the board wish to indulge in anonymous name-calling then that's their choice. Besides, I don't think that this thread ruined ILE or anything that bad, everyone had forgotten about it until the NZ contingent revived it anyway.

DG, Tuesday, 6 November 2001 01:00 (twenty-four years ago)
