Gruby shoes found on highways ..C or D?

You’ve seen them. Lone, random shoes & sneakers, resting in the middle of a highway or just off the side of a road.
Where do they come from? Certainly they can not all be from hit and runs. Phenomenon or no? Why are they always mens shoes and never platform heels or clogs?

I love shoes dangling from a power line.

One of my favorite shirts I got from the side of the highway. A friend & I were driving along and I told him to stop the car. I walked along the shoulder to where a nice Western shirt was wrapped around the guardrail. I still wear it to this day!

Does Gareth take them home and love them? (Probably only if they are brown.)

sadly, the best ones rarely fit. i bought a pair home once and looked at them for days hoping they would shrink. they didn't and a friend now uses them as his 'holiday shoes'.

yeah, true hstencil. or they serve as turf marks.
in school we used to take our friends sneakers and throw them in trees. go fetch. almost as fun as yelling at people from cars.

It's great finding trash! Two of my chairs I found by the dumpster, not saying which ones.
