MT is finally going to NYC!

I will be in NYC from Thursday to Sunday morning. The DFA has finally inspired me to get off my butt and have a look at NYC. Are there any clubs, concerts , or records shops that I should make it a point to check out while I am in town?

I think people know my tastes by now. I am not too much for the fashion aspect of electroclash and I prefer my dance records to revolve around the Detroit/Berlin axis. If there are any good raw rock and roll concerts happening I would like to know as well.

Any other fun and worthwhile things would be nice as well. Anything that has to do with performance art, digital media, or comunications in general. Thanks in Advance!

I'm a Detroiter myself, Mike, and I realize I'm reading this message after the fact, but did you check out:
-Satellite Records: A pretty damn good all-purpose electronic/dance music store, hardcore to more 'mersh house
-Tonic, a great club featuring everything from klezmer to breakcore
-CBGB: what can I say? Actually, I can say I've only been to the Sunday jazz showcases in the gallery, but that was pretty damn cool

Let me know what you thought of NYC.
