Ok, having been a cop, I was disappointed that I wasn't laughing while perusing this thread...that is until I saw nickalicious's incongruous caption from Mr. Murphy's early works flawlessly appropriated for the posted image.

No, Mr. Diamond, I was not swayed by the TV Guide cover. Having attended the CHP Academy, I no longer find Ponch and John jokes to be very funny.
