I was thinking that they had finally removed the brain of the cyborg wolf and replaced it with a computer, making it the world's first meat-free wolf. I can't support such a thing because of course the first thing it would do would be to go homicidal on its human creators leading to a final showdown between the wolf and a sexy science journalist on a broken-down mall escalator, and we don't need any more of that sort of thing than we already have really.
