BurmaKitty (BurmaKitty), Sunday, 4 May 2003 02:02 (twenty-two years ago)

The watch is a good start

Nate Patrin (Nate Patrin), Sunday, 4 May 2003 02:04 (twenty-two years ago)

Does the watch have a calculator?

jm (jtm), Sunday, 4 May 2003 02:28 (twenty-two years ago)

some graffiti on the wall would help.

gaz (gaz), Sunday, 4 May 2003 02:32 (twenty-two years ago)

good god

webber (webber), Sunday, 4 May 2003 02:35 (twenty-two years ago)

...because if it doesn't then you're not cool

jm (jtm), Sunday, 4 May 2003 02:36 (twenty-two years ago)

Cool is relative, but your sideburns aren't even and your shirt sucks... The shirt doesn't really matter, but uneven sideburns is something to take notice of. It's like wearing your underwear outside your pants.

scaredy cat, Sunday, 4 May 2003 04:42 (twenty-two years ago)

Its MC Paul Barman.

Ed (dali), Sunday, 4 May 2003 07:32 (twenty-two years ago)

nellie (minna), Sunday, 4 May 2003 08:31 (twenty-two years ago)

some graffiti on the wall would help.

hehe gaz you'd like some of my press shots from 2 years back - we were standing next to graffiti that said "I Love This" - it reminded me of the Dead C song of the same name....

electric sound of jim (electricsound), Sunday, 4 May 2003 09:01 (twenty-two years ago)

It's no good asking me, I'm a middle-aged white Englishman. We know nothing of this 'cool' of which you speak.

Martin Skidmore (Martin Skidmore), Sunday, 4 May 2003 10:32 (twenty-two years ago)

You need to wear tighter shirts, at least one size smaller. Or better yet, wear a black suit and sunglasses, slick your hair back, and play "Little Green Bag".

Frühlingsmute (Wintermute), Sunday, 4 May 2003 11:53 (twenty-two years ago)

You would look cooler if you looked a bit glazed and frowny and had blood streaming out of your nostrils.

Momus (Momus), Sunday, 4 May 2003 12:24 (twenty-two years ago)

hmmm.

Frühlingsmute (Wintermute), Sunday, 4 May 2003 13:08 (twenty-two years ago)

Then there are a couple more options, cool-by-association and cool-by-contrast.

Momus (Momus), Sunday, 4 May 2003 13:34 (twenty-two years ago)

Omigod, I just found out who this guy is. I just Photoshopped the mick out of a computer graphics black belt who worked on the Digital Michaelangelo Project. If he ever gets hold of my photo I am so dead.

Momus (Momus), Sunday, 4 May 2003 13:46 (twenty-two years ago)

there's a certain thread i'm having a very hard time stopping myself from linking to.

mitch lastnamewithheld (mitchlnw), Sunday, 4 May 2003 13:58 (twenty-two years ago)

Its MC Paul Barman.

It's Art Garfunkel!

Daniel_Rf (Daniel_Rf), Sunday, 4 May 2003 14:09 (twenty-two years ago)

Whoa, this is tough. You've are about half cool guy half dork, and it's almost exactly equal parts. i think it would all come down to somthing other than looks, like how many times you've seen the Guitar Wolf zombie movie: Wild Zero (where the more times you've seen = the cooler you become).

A Nairn (moretap), Sunday, 4 May 2003 14:35 (twenty-two years ago)

Hey this is a bit off innit? Linking to a picture of some guy and asking us if he's cool or not, unless I've got the wrong end of the stick and the guy IS aaron a.

jel -- (jel), Sunday, 4 May 2003 16:01 (twenty-two years ago)

It's not him. I'm assuming it's

a) A friend he wants to josh

b) An enemy he wants us to take revenge on all unknowing, like lemmings and moles.

Momus (Momus), Sunday, 4 May 2003 16:20 (twenty-two years ago)

I had no idea Guitar Wolf had a zombie movie. Now I have to spend more money.

Millar (Millar), Sunday, 4 May 2003 16:22 (twenty-two years ago)

You hadn't heard, Mr. Millar? Chris Barrus says it is uttermost genius.

Ned Raggett (Ned), Monday, 5 May 2003 00:11 (twenty-two years ago)

And Chris Barrus is OTM.

A Nairn (moretap), Monday, 5 May 2003 03:22 (twenty-two years ago)

I don't know the subject personally, so perhaps this thread is a bit 'off' -- but I was hella drunk! Anyway, the point is to conjecture as to his music tastes. I say Mahler and Megadeth.

Aaron A., Monday, 5 May 2003 03:43 (twenty-two years ago)

I had no idea Guitar Wolf had a zombie movie.

OH MY FUCKING GOD! You had no idea? I can't think of any other movie that just screams "MILLAR!" than this. Wild Zero is ABSOLFUCKINUTELY uttermost GENIUS.

Zombies, guns (lots of guns), motorcycles, fast cars, exploding heads, armed robbery, drinking (lots of drinking), UFOs (lots of UFOs), drugs, yakuza, "ROCKNROLL!", love, violence, action, etc. etc.

The official movie site is skimpy on the details, but the Wild Zero Drinking Game site has a lot more. Watch the trailer here.

ROCKANDROLL!!!!!
