I like meatloaf when there are a few hard boiled eggs in the middle.

Roman (Roman), Sunday, 4 May 2003 04:38 (twenty-two years ago)

i cannot support this. meatloaf is my rock and roll hero.

di smith (lucylurex), Sunday, 4 May 2003 04:57 (twenty-two years ago)

i'm talking about meatloaf the foodstuff, not meatloaf the singer. (that's why i went to such great pains to write "culinary" in the header!)

Tad (llamasfur), Sunday, 4 May 2003 04:59 (twenty-two years ago)

Meatloaf is not one of my favorite rock icons though I think I might like him better if he came stuffed with two hardboiled eggs.

Roman (Roman), Sunday, 4 May 2003 05:01 (twenty-two years ago)

tad can't you take a joke?

di smith (lucylurex), Sunday, 4 May 2003 05:05 (twenty-two years ago)

Haggis?

Mr. Diamond (diamond), Sunday, 4 May 2003 16:37 (twenty-two years ago)

We Brits call it "meatloaf". For Americans, it's pronounced like if you joined the words "meat" and "loaf" together. I have eaten it.

Martin Skidmore (Martin Skidmore), Sunday, 4 May 2003 16:38 (twenty-two years ago)

two months pass...
revive! and please, don't no-one tell me that you pour syrup on yer meatloaf!!

Tad (llamasfur), Thursday, 10 July 2003 09:04 (twenty-two years ago)

I love meatloaf, but there's a restaurant around here that makes it with a sweet spice, a baking spice I can't identify, and the flavor combo just doesn't work. I imagine syrup would be horrible.

Jody Beth Rosen (Jody Beth Rosen), Thursday, 10 July 2003 12:03 (twenty-two years ago)

I would pour anything on meatloaf, but I won't pour that.
