i like rhodes cos it's got a cool, slightly seedy, walled "old town", and lots of rugged, undiscovered bits too, and the climate is dryer and not so muggy because it's further south.

Kythera, because it's nearly tourist-free in parts, and absolutely gorgeous. Actually, strike that -- Kythera is horrible, so don't go there and leave it for losers like me. (wink, wink)

The Western end of Kos, which is very very quiet (or was when I went about four years ago (in fact almost four to the day) and dseerted and lovely, as opposed to the Eastern end which is a tourist hell hole, but which does have some lovely ruins.
