Classic! But only in black.

Classic only if used in conjunction with a Playstation 2.

Classic for the first month, then major dud when it loses all form. (unless there have been major advancements in bean bag technology in the last 10 yrs)

They're great for late-nite headphone sessions, too. Not good for: dinner parties, dates, accomodating grandmothers and aunts, etc etc

You need to buy new beans and restuff it periodically, which is a pain.

They always explode and poop tiny styrofoam pellets everywhere.

Advance in Beanbag Chair technology: www.lovesac.com Comfy as all get out, but costy.

They can be mighty comfortable (as a child of the 70's, we had one in my home growing up), but they're probably not very good for your spine. Moreover, if they rip....you'll have a vaccuming headache all over your carpet.

Also, the kitsch factor is pretty ripe. Ya gonna get a wacky Lava Lamp and a black-light Kiss poster to go with it?

Not really. (The chair might be orange though.)

The actual beanbag chairs (ie with arms, and more structure than yer standard beanbag) - classic. My old flatmate had one. If you sat in it, you never wanted to get out. I'd like to buy one for balcony-and-PC notebook sessions to do my writing. Mmmm nice. Also handy for picknicks and those outdoor lawn movie sessions at night.
